Okay, so, two things:

The first one is that I have a lonely X-Scissor card, if anyone needs a bug-type pokemon for the game!

The second is that I'm looking for cards for the game! Specifically, I'd like to trade for the Ice Beam that I need to knock out the first two Pokemon! I have a Starter card for the last one.

I can always trade in a crayon for them if needed, but I thought it'd be okay to try trading for them first.

I think I'm way over thinking this round of BOTB..

So, the two sharps, does each sharp have to be related? If not, can words that are associated with colors/music be put anywhere in the puzzle? I keep trying to come up with unique words for the bonus, but I think I'm confusing myself even more orz...

I'm not actually terribly familiar with ciphers to say for sure, but I think it's kind of like a crossword puzzle, just with much more freedom! Which makes it seem more complicated than it seems, haha...So the first, left half should be filled in with words that are related to "color"--colors, fruits, anything that can be linked to a color! That's the easy one.

The right half has to be all music related terms. I suggest looking here if you're looking for terms, but there's also music industry terms, instruments, variation techniques, music devices (cds, cassettes--i used "record" in mine.) If all of these are completely useless to you I'm sorry! I'm linking them just in case anyone has trouble though haha...

ANYWAY the short version is that you need four words for both sides--two six-letter words going down, two five-letter words going across, and they have to be able to overlap like in a crossword puzzle, but it doesn't sound like they have to be connected outside of overlapping letters. I just sort of followed the example myself.

I'm sorry, I kind of went on a tangent there, but I wanted to cover everything I could think of to help! ; u; If I missed anything or just made things more confusing, I'm sorry--let me know and I'll try to be more clear!

It's like...when you come up with something about a character that isn't explicitly stated anywhere, but that you like to think is true about them. Often, but not always, it builds on stuff that you do see, but sometimes it's just something you come up with out of the blue. Like maybe it never says anywhere in the series what Bob's favorite color is, but he wears red a lot so you might say it's your "headcanon" that he wears so much of it because it's his favorite color.

I hope that wasn't too crappy of an explanation. /o\

ROUND 10

We're no loner allowed to share answers anymore, but as the original post is detailed enough that it'd be easy to miss, I thought I would lay out the major points addressed in it and some very general advice! If anyone else wants to discuss the game, feel free to chime in.

PART ONE
→ In mysteries, the detective is an unbiased narrative; in other words, they cannot lie to us, but they will only be capable of showing us what they perceive (in other words, they can be tricked and lied to.)
→ There are two culprits; their colors may add up to the three primaries: red, blue, yellow. Colors stack (purple = red + blue, green = yellow + blue, brown = yellow + red.)
→ There is exactly one liar/contradiction in the group. This is the guilty culprit.
→ This comment mentions a loophole: characters cannot see what is occurring backstage while they are performing. They cannot see it when characters enter or exit.
→ The answer to finding the liar is finding the discrepancy between the testimonies and the opening performance. My own personal suggestion is to check the testimonies one at a time to see what matches. If it's easier, write it down and logic it out the same way you would any other logic puzzle or even a math proof: X is proven (in)correct by Y. For example, Mikan cannot be the lying because she is the detective and has not given testimony.

Basically, it sounds really big and bad and scary, but it's just a written "spot the difference" with a side of math.

PART TWO
→ This game seems to be based off the android game app called "lazors," which in itself is based off of logic puzzles such as laser logic.
→ The object is to guide the laser through three locks (the green dots) using all seven blocks. Working through it I also used nine dot puzzles to help me, but idk if that last one will work for everyone.
→ Lines can bounce off of every angle of a "mirror" block and cannot bounce off multiple times, but they cannot go through them, as every side is reflective.
→ If you have adobe photoshop, I found it easier to use the line feature while holding shift, which makes it so you're making 45/90 degree angles.
→ Additionally, as they need to go through the locks, I suggest noting the ones that are connected to the locks off limit with an X or by changing the color or something, and keeping track of which ones you're making reflective.

Hello fellow band mates! I just want to give everyone a heads up that I am nearing the end of my summer and am using all my extra time for wedding planning. That said, I still want to participate in the event and should be able to get all my stuff in by the deadlines. If by chance there is something that I need to take part in sooner, PLEASE give me a nudge and let me know, otherwise most of my stuff will take place towards the end of the event. ^^

Sup guys, wanted to do a late check-in on those earlier games - I noticed round 5 was stalled on a couple of people who got there late, put in one, and hadn't gotten the chance for a second yet! I've thrown one more in, so Diana, you should be able to put in your second now, though we'll still need at least one more (maybe two, depending who gets there when) for Vincent to get a second, and then some more spacing for thirds, so everyone might want to pop in again and see if they can help with that.

Round 6 isn't quite as stuck but may still be worth glancing at a couple more times before the deadline hits!

I think most of us got our pokeymans in for round 1; I've still got x-scissor and brickbreak cards on hold if anyone hadn't gotten to that yet and finds they need one of those types.

Round 3, as always, if anyone isn't already using me to fulfill a color and needs a certain one, holler and I'll help you out.

I think those are all the games that we need teamwork on to finish; we had the answer for round 8 figured out and confirmed, so if anyone hasn't gotten there, you can go score that one without needing to coordinate anything.
