HELLO, TEAM. Here's our locker room (fashionably just in time?), so let's go over what you can find here:

Introductions! The first thread is a little space for us to get acquainted, offer up other contact info such as plurk if desired (and never required), and shoot the breeze before things get more serious. I'll also be asking you here for your favorite character with a red color scheme; I am no great hand at graphics but I will try my hand at making us some cool badges anyway. :V

(If you guys would prefer that we do some team coordination on plurk, I am 100% game for that and you're welcome to friend me at estamir - but I know not everyone is fond of the site or wants to expand their friends list, so if you guys don't like that idea we can do everything right here. I want to do this however is most comfy for everyone.)

Game check-ins! The other top-level thread is for checking in each time you submit your answers for a game; it's meant to give us an idea of where we are as League progresses. Make yourself a comment under the top-level, and edit or comment to yourself as you turn in your games! And remember - you need to include your team name with your answers to each game, or we won't get points! :(

Aside from that - I (or whoever gets here first each day and feels like it) will be starting a thread as each game is posted, for us to coordinate for those games that need teamwork, or to offer hints and suggestions to our teammates who might be having a little trouble! We can't share answers, always remember - but we can give each other hints, or offer tips on how to start tackling a game. For games that require card turn-in, if you haven't got anything that suits your needs in your own trade pile, just give a holler and I will pass you some cards to help you out!


If I've missed anything feel free to chime in, add things, and all that jazz - and don't forget that we're here to have fun first! o/

Introduce yourself to your teammates here! You can tell us as much or as little as you like, but I'd suggest letting us know how long you've been around Colors, maybe some stuff you're into, how you feel about soccer - whatever your heart tells you.

I'd also like to know your favorite character with a red color scheme, so I can try to frankenstein us some awful team badges in Photoshop. \o/

If you are interested in coordinating on plurk, this is also where to let us all know so we can add you! If not, though, everything important will still appear in this post, so as long as you keep an eye on the comments you should be fine - and if I have no alternate contact I'll assume that PMing the journal you use here is fine if I need to get ahold of you . o/

I'm Sammich, I'm your team captain, and you have probably seen me around posting a few games before, as well! o/ I've been around Colors for a little over a year now, and last year's League was one of the first events I took part in here - on Team Akai last year, as well, hence why I leapt on the chance to captain it this year and hopefully make it as fun for y'all as it was for me when I was a tender newbie.

I haven't played soccer since like elementary school, though. Sports ain't my thing, cry.

If you wish to add me on plurk at estamir, feel free! Aside from TCG things, I babble a fair bit about RP, Lego, and my fandoms - I think I'm probably best known here for my samurai addiction; I'm deep into Hakuouki and Samurai Warriors. But I also love Fire Emblem, Shin Megami Tensei, various JRPGs especially of the old-school persuasion, and some other things here and there, as well. (I'm also drowning in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle feelings lately, so I guess that warrants a mention.)

If you need help on anything or have any concerns about this event, please do let me know! I'm here to try and make this fun for you guys.

UH hey!! I'm Kippi, and I never update my post as often as I should. //waves quietly. I've been here since the very tail end of league last year, and I was really disappointed about missing it, so I'm super excited to be participating in it this time around!! I don't care much about real soccer though, haha.

My plurk is mintww! I mainly plurk TCGs and Tales of, and not much else. I'd love to add you all though!

Fandoms wise I'm mostly into Tales of (especially Destiny and its sequel!), but also Amatsuki and Fire Emblem. My favorite red character would probably be Iria Animi if we're going by actual red and not just Colors TCG red :P. (If we're going by Colors TCG red it's most certainly Harold Berselius, but I assume we aren't counting obviously pink characters.)

Hello, I'm Joyce and I'm pretty excited to be participating in Colors League this year! I've been a player in this TCG since November last year so it'll be my first time. I'm excited about playing for Eintracht Akai both because red is my favorite color and I'm learning German. My favorite character with a red scheme is Mitsuru Kirijo from Persona 3! Dear Sammich, if you need help with Photoshop stuff, I don't mind helping out.

I have a plurk account but I haven't been active at all lately so it'd be a waste to add me and having us not talk through there, I can definitely be contacted through PM and I'll drop by here. My main fandoms right now are One Piece, Umineko no Naku Koro ni, Ao no Exorcist and Sailor Moon, but I am interested in a lot of other stuff that I'm not currently actively reading/playing/watching.

THAT WOULD BE PRETTY FAB IF YOU HAVE TIME, I admittedly keep looking at photoshop and just being like "ok how can I make this not super fail." I was thinking maybe just hijacking the mastery badge format, but then putting in name/position/number or something like that, though if you have a cooler idea I'm also super open to that! :|a

(also YEAH GERMAN, true story, we are Eintracht Akai entirely because I was a German history major and I felt like I had to. \o/ )

Sorry for taking so long to reply, I was out this morning and when I came back I sat down to think of something I could do. I'm not sure how cool my designs are haha, but I made some templates that can be customizable if there's anything you want to change in terms of colors, patterns or design and if you don't like them, I could make another one or we could use the mastery badge format like you said! Though in that case you'd have to get me the template if it's not too much trouble, since I think it'd take a bit of time trying to emulate it.

Anyway!! Enough chit-chat, you can see some of my examples here:

If there's anything in particular that you don't like or that you'd like changed, I don't mind making it happen and also if there's anything you want to keep or something let me know, I'm sure we can reach an agreement on design if we work together :D

ohhhh, these are all excellent, thank you! I like the big one with the solid background most, I think, although I'd be down with any of them tbh so if everyone else prefers a different one I'm fine with that too.

And gosh I should probably bring my own image to the table, huh. A wild samurai appears!

I think I like that one best too! The checkerboard makes me dizzy, although I might like a pattern if it was a bit bigger (The parts of the pattern, not the card.).

No problem at all, I made an example for you, do you want any changes made to that one? I sort of played around with the border on the colors and card and made it non-black, I don't know if you prefer this or the version I made first, if you want changes in the crop or image editing or anything! You can be as specific as you want, no problem.

They both look super nice, I don't know! I like the crop, and I like how you're matching colors to the image on it. I think I might slightly prefer the new one though.

Keep whichever you want! Or both, I don't think it's necessary for all of ours to have the same colors in border or background but to have colors that look good with the image, so if you prefer the new one a little more, that's good. I'm not sure if Sammich will be adding them to the entry though, in which case you may want to let her know.

OK, thanks! I kept the background solid though I played around with the colors a little for different images (yours, mine and Kippi's all have different shades of red so that's why) but if you'd like them have them all be the same color I can do that in seconds. I made one for you, let me know if you'd like any changes made (background, border or font color, different crop etc)!! It's here.

You could also update these in the post or something (I'll be using joycev3 from the examples, will put it up in my post soon!) and point the other team players my way if they want to get one too :D

I do intend to get these edited into the post! I'm kind of running in circles playing catch-up atm, work has been kicking my butt this week, but I should make that happen at some point tonight. o7

Late but I'm here!

I'm Tsu and I originally joined Colors back in 2010 (@_@ so long ago wow), but I fell off the face of the internet right before the first anniversary. But I rejoined in the middle of the 4th anniversary and I'm back in the swing of things!

Uh...I'm actually more of a baseball type of girl, but I love watching the World Cup and the Olympics.

Sob, I am so late. I've been busy with work and Otakon all week, but I'm going to definitely jump on these games starting tomorrow. I'm slowly getting back into Colors since I fell out of it a lot when I got my job. I was with Murasaki's team last year.

Uh... my red character would probably be Matsuoka Rin. I'm pretty heavy into Free right now, although my fandom babies will always be Code Geass, Vampire Knight, Wolf's Rain and Angel Sanctuary.
