Colors TCG Icons
Howdy, everyone!
As is prone to happen with the eternally churning gray matter in my head, I have been struck with another idea. Primarily for aesthetics and by no means required, demanded, or forced upon anyone, I bring to you... the option of player-specific Colors TCG themed LJ icons!
I've found that this makes it very clear (for me, anyway) to tell multiple LJ posts apart; especially if i've used LJ cut on them all. Seeing the icon lets me know, immediately, what that post is for. Alternatively, the icon can be used for community posts / trade requests / for fun. It's just a silly addition to feel a little more personally attached to Colors. ALSO! While Signature cards are permanent, I am willing to make you a new Colors Icon as many times as you'd like. Your signature may be permanent, but your Icon isn't.
The style and font combination, of course, are based primarily off of the Colors design. The colors and name will be identical to the ones that appear on your Signature card. Player icons will have their name in the bottom right corner, games and services will have their name centered near the bottom.
If you would like for me to make one for you, all you need to do is post a reply to this post with the following information:
1) Your name here at Colors.
2) The image of your Signature card.
3) A picture of your choice for the icon.
Alternatively, for the various games and activities posted throughout Colors:
1) Game name / Service name (Art Shop, Crazy Colors, etc)
2) Requested inner and outer border color.
3) A picture of your choice for the icon.
Please, PLEASE avoid fanart at all costs for your chosen image. I don't need any sort of copyright or art theft lawsuits raining down on me. Unless you happen to provide a perfect 98x98 pixel image that fits right into the frame of the icon, I'll be sizing down the image to fit into the icon appropriately. Feel free to request a specific manner in which you want it sized.
NOTE: The artwork for your icon does not have to be related to the artwork for your signature.

After your icon has been made, please make sure to upload it to your LJ user icons... and flaunt it!
If you wish to make your own icon and want nothing to do with me, don't sweat it! Moreover, if you'd like for me to display your custom Colors icon along with the ones I create here, just let me know and I'll display it! My goal is to have a gallery of these icons for all the players available to look at.
Edit: Addendum: I am aware that not everyone has a massive amount of icons. If you want a Colors Icon but don't have the room to use it, don't sweat it. I'll still gladly make it for you!
