Whether you are a veteran player or you've just joined recently, played in Colors League events before or it's your first time participating, let's do our best! /o/

as you might have noticed from this post or last year's Purple Nightmares backstage, i'm the team captain that adds a lot of player-themed decorations to our posts so this thread is to coordinate what goes into the empty fields i've left for you! Please refer to the ball thread and the mass deck thread for details /o/

BALL

The ball works just like this banner from last year! So, all you have to do is to link me a picture of your favorite purple-themed character and i'll add them to the graphic (last year i specified that you had to submit female characters, but this is not in effect this time!) Please reply to this comment with your pictures! The only limitation is that you can't use a character that someone else is using.

MASS DECK

Some of you might have seen the "make a deck of yourself" meme on plurk. This works somewhat like that - you make a deck for yourself using our special deck template which you can download here if you don't have it already! (and here is a basic deckmaking tutorial if you haven't done that before) Of course, if you'd rather not make your deck yourself or don't have the software neede, you can just comment with images and deckname and I'll make your deck for you!

Pointers:
- use 20 different characters that you like, RP, anything like this. Since these aren't official decks, you can even add Western or live action characters.
- please use a shade of purple for at least one of the deck colors!
- it would be nice if the character color schemes matched our team but i don't require them to be as PURPLE as the character you are choosing for the ball. Shades of purple, pink, dark blue, all are acceptable. Of course, you can insert your favorite characters that don't match the color scheme as well! This is all for fun and i won't be in any way strict here.

For my deck, I've intentionally omitted some of my big favorites and replaced them with other characters i like that matched the color scheme better but this is in no way required. i also did one character per canon but this is also not a requirement. Just do whathever you feel like doing with your deck!
- the deckname is the name of your SPECIAL MOVE! It can be anything, really.
- for this, you CAN use a character that already is in someone else's deck!
- please post your decks in this thread as separate cards, so i can add them to our mass collection!

Hello everyone! I'm Kiri, and my main fandoms at the moment areeee... Kagerou Project and Dramatical Murder, really. Though, I tend to be a fan of most Vocaloid related song series because I listen to music nearly 24/7 and I love it. I ALSO ENJOY GAMES. Such as, Dangan Ronpa, Super Dangan Ronpa 2, Wadanohara...

Hi, my name is Pam and I'm addicted to TCGs.

... This isn't an AA meeting, is it.

Anyway! My main fandoms right now are Code Geass, Macross Frontier, Free!, and Aldnoah.Zero. My old favorites are Madoka Magica, Star Driver, Darker than Black, and Cardcaptor Sakura! For non-anime shows, I'm watching Legend of Korra and some reality competition shows like Top Chef, Masterchef, and Hell's Kitchen! I used to be into more mecha shows, but have since lost interest in watching more. I usually listen to a lot of Spanish music since I'm living in Ecuador for years now, haha.

Hi everyone! My name is Fumika. I've been in Colors for a little over a year now. I'm the mod that runs Art Shop, Crazy Colors, Shadow Watching, Quilting and (temporarily) Kiss the Cook. My fandoms change a lot, but the main two for the couple years have been Baccano! and Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I'm also a huge fan of Bravely Default, RPG maker games (The Witch's House, Wadanohara, Ib, Mad Father, etc...) and horror in general--including Fatal Frame, Silent Hill, Rule of Rose, When They Cry and Catherine.

Hello, hello! I'm Diana, and I happen to be the one that doesn't shut up about Yu-Gi-Oh! like, ever.

Aside from the massive pain that is YGO in general, other things I enjoy are Kingdom Hearts, Free!, Sailor Moon, Cardfight!! Vanguard, and the list goes on. If I'm collecting a deck from that series, chances are I love the series. (Honorable mentions go to Dangan Ronpa, Code Geass, Legend of Zelda, Bleach and The World Ends With You.) Aside from that, I am currently watching Haikyuu!! slowly but surely, while trying to catch up on CFV too.

As for myself, I'm 22 (turning 23 August 5th!), live in the eastern part of the states, and I've been in Colors for a little over a year now. I've really enjoyed my time here and here's hoping the days around my birthday aren't as hectic as last year so I can participate better!

Hey all! My name is Abby and I'm so excited to be on FC Murasaki because purple is my absolute favorite color, like everyone else here. :P SERIOUSLY IF I CAN GET SOMETHING IN PURPLE, I WILL. This is no exception. I think I've been at Colors for a year now but this is my first Colors League and it's pretty exciting! Just be wary that I'm super behind in updating things right now. OTL

I've got a bunch of fandoms but I think the biggest ones I'm into right now are the Fate/ franchise and Free. Neon Genesis Evangelion and Madoka Magica are some of my other favorites. But other than that, I also enjoy the Monogatari series, Kill la Kill, Sailor Moon, Dangan Ronpa, Oreimo, Oregairu, RWBY and most anything Gainax really haha. This is the game where we'll need to do some teamwork! The most important thing I'll request of you, FC Murasaki players, is that if you manage to gain a point without using up all five shots, please save your remaining shots for later, so you would be able to help any teammates who arrive late and this way they wouldn't be blocked from this game by the rule that there must be two comments between each shoot!

Does anyone have any advice for finding these other than just going through player's trade pages one by one? I was able to get some of of them just by memory and skimming through the trade comm, but I'm pretty well stuck on 2, 6 and 7.

It's my game so if anything is screwed up (I hope not), it's my fault for causing trouble for the team, but for now, I suggest that you commented here with a link to the post where it's most convenient for you to receive the pass and we'll do the passes in the order of comments so keeping track of who had the ball already would be easier. if you know that you will not be available for some time, let us know so your pass could be completed before you leave or we'll save yours for the last.

Colors World Cup, Game 8: Commentary Time!

Today's game is about dub voices, but don't worry if you don't know a lot about dubs, there are so many hints this game should be a breeze. My suggestion is to start with looking up the video game roles of the seiyuu that is given as a hint, since while all the English VAs in this game are big names, not all of the seiyuus are and their lists of game roles aren't nearly as long, making it easier to find the role that is the answer.

Submitted! Pretty sure I got them all. I knew most of them from playing the games, but for those that didn't looking through the seiyuu's list of works really did make it a lot easier. I think most, if not all of them have LPs on YouTube for anyone who wants to double check their answers though that.

It might get a little tricky once all the generic terms get taken, but if anyone starts having any trouble with them, Wiki has an extremely expansive list of sports terms to sift through, as well as sports idioms. I personally just made a (small) list of four letter words before figuring out which ones would fit together.
