Hey team! Welcome to the 2014 edition of the Colors League, this year known as the Colors World Cup! I'm Fel and this is my second year heading up Tobi-han's brown team. My philosophy as captain is that everyone have a great time while participating to the best of their ability! As a team, Tobi-han comports itself with honour and discipline, as reflected in our great defensive formation above. I'm no longer involved in team sport, but I am a big believer in sportsmanship and believe that people playing their best is the a victory in itself.

Below will first be a general chat thread for introductions and mingling, since sadly I don't know very many of you personally! Later, I'll be linking to each game as it's posted and we'll set our minds to victory! Let's go, team!

All right, the first game is located here! The word we are spelling is CHEER, which means we need to trade cards starting with C, H, E, and R! Make sure you check what numbers you can offer!

Here! This is a closed game so we can't share answers, but if anything's really puzzling, feel free to ask.

I should as well, though man my cards are pretty sparce once we pass the 'C' section..

Here! My advice for this one is to make sure we pace ourselves—try to let three people play in between any of your shots so we don't run out before the end. Don't forget to follow-up the places where our teammates have struck!

As of this comment/Onyx's second shot, possibly shots for a goal are: J-6, L-6, K-5. When we see where Onyx's second shot has gone, we'll have a better idea where to aim next! edit B-4 is a goal! Next to check is A-4 or D-4, then we'll (nearly) know what size of blind spot we've found.

I'm taking a shot at K-5!

Here! Another closed game, but this one shouldn't be as hard as the crossword—like Deli has said, all the characters have decks onsite.

Remember that Ookiku Furikabutte is not the only baseball series we've got!

Here! We'll have to take turns again. ALSO we sing this around our house because Chelsea Tobi hooray /o/

As a note,

aestivalis and I will be going away from tomorrow until Saturday! If Game 6 is up early enough, I'll link it, and I'm posting Game 9 on Saturday, so I'll certainly be available to link that. If someone else would like to post a link to Game 7 and Game 8, I'd be very grateful!

We're a little over a fifth of the way through, is everyone doing okay so far? Anyone need any assistance with particular tasks?

I'm not sure if I should have done one for game six or not! But since Fel is away let's get this rolling!

Game 7 is here and it doesn't look like it's too much trouble as long as everyone's attentive, so be sure to let your teammate know when you've got the ball! I've already asked for the ball so I'll pass it as soon as I get it, everyone do your best!

And we're back! Sorry for the trouble all, glad to see we're still kicking. Muri's graciously posted us a link to game 7 just above this comment, so here are game 6 and game 8 with game 9 to follow shortly in a comment below this one /o/ six and eight are both closed games, which means no sharing of answers or real need for discussion, but as always, do come forward if you're having trouble and we'll rally to your aid!

Today I'm posting the second-last game! Our Colors League journey is nearly at its end. How have we enjoyed it? Do we feel confident about our participation? I hope everyone's had a good time and not felt pressured or stressed out about their online card games :> Let's do what we can to play on before Colors settles down into all its normal games again.

And here's mine! It's modelled after the game I did last year, though much simpler and smaller than it was then. Please let me know if there's anything I can clarify! I'll see if I can scrounge up some links if necessary.

Hey guys, the results are in! We came in sixth place this year, only a few points behind fourth and fifth! We fell down a bit around Game 7 but I think we all had a great time, and I'm very grateful to everyone for playing so well throughout the League. Hope to see you all again next year!
