Hey team! Welcome to the 2014 edition of the Colors League, this year known as the Colors World Cup! I'm Fel and this is my second year heading up Tobi-han's brown team. My philosophy as captain is that everyone have a great time while participating to the best of their ability! As a team, Tobi-han comports itself with honour and discipline, as reflected in our great defensive formation above. I'm no longer involved in team sport, but I am a big believer in sportsmanship and believe that people playing their best is the a victory in itself.

Some housekeeping: I'm available on Plurk at ivywell or via PM at shinsengumi, but will be using this post as our primary source of communications, so remember to track it by clicking the (or 'track'!) at the top of the post! If you have any trouble, concerns, or questions please don't hesitate to contact me—Colors World Cup is about having fun, so turn to your team to help allay your fears and really let loose.

Below will first be a general chat thread for introductions and mingling, since sadly I don't know very many of you personally! Later, I'll be linking to each game as it's posted and we'll set our minds to victory! Let's go, team!

Here! Another closed game, but this one shouldn't be as hard as the crossword—like Deli has said, all the characters have decks onsite.

Remember that Ookiku Furikabutte is not the only baseball series we've got!

Personally the method I'm finding easiest is to narrow down what series it could be, check the decks that match the colour and then compare the names listed in the hints and the deck data.

A lot of them you can actually pick out the clothing in the card image, and even if you can't the hints given tend to match something in the description or deck name. You just need to do a bit of googling and digging around, I'm sure you'll do fine!

The problem is, with the exception of one of them, none of them are even remotely familiar to me. I don't even remotely know what I'm looking for, so even with extensive googling it's really hard to just get a start.

I've gotten five out of six right now, because I can work with it if I can get the series, but the last one I need I'm just completely stumped on. I can't figure out what it is at all.

I barely watch anime I like, so I don't pay any attention to sports anime. Heck, I try to avoid it like the plague. So I feel like an artist given extensive code and told to figure out how to make something work. ~_~;

I didn't know any of them either! But you're doing really well with five out of six regardless! :O If the last one's too stressful to figure out, just hand in your answer with those five. Even if there's a mistake, you'll still score a point for the team, and regardless, it's not worth getting frustrated about!

I actually had a friend who gave me hints on what to phrase my search on and stuff. xD I'm not really... frustrated? Like not in a "I want to punch babies" way, I'm frustrated in an "I WANT THOSE CRAYONS" sort of way.

Sorry if it seemed otherwise, but while my major goal was to get a point, I kind of want to see if I can get them all for stuff. The 14 I'm getting from PoG just aren't enough for me apparently.

Haha, not to worry, just didn't want anyone grinding their gears for what's just fun card games :< BUT HEY, gaining stuff is great, I suppose it's easy for me to be nonchalant when I've got so many cards in my trade pile, do the best you can and win all the thingssssss o9

yes your trade pile is silly while mine is not. It's irritated me because I tried looking through games to find other people to trade with (I'm only 10 short of finishing PoG's purple task now), but it's hard since I don't have any cards anyone seems to want. XD

The fact that Ookiku Furikabutte is the only baseball series I'm slightly familiar with makes B so hard to figure out... ;;

And then after looking down the list of Blue decks, I find the other series name I'm familiar with that I searched for in a different order. d'oh.

I will toss you a hint saying if you search the deck page for a series named after the shape of a baseball field, you'll find another baseball series!
