Also a potentially silly question, can I go ahead and mark these trades in my scrapbook or should I wait until the August release to do that?

Several people do it differently, but I prefer to wait until trades are confirmed. Technically speaking you don't have the cards to give away (and thus earn the ticks on the sketchpads) until the release post! :O
