Thanks for the suggestion, I'll add it to my list! I really like science fiction and fantasy :D and I tend to like things that are thought provoking/dark/complex rather than goofy, which I guess is a little odd since I am a bit of a goofball xD

Akayona is a historical fantasy which is mostly serious (and has good humour though not entirely goofy), so I hope you'll enjoy it if you do! I think 9 hours 9 persons 9 doors/Virtue's Last Reward might be something up your alley, though it's a visual novel (but I think you can emulate the first one since it's on the DS).

As for anime, I watch a lot of magical girl genres and some ridiculous comedy ones right now. Depending on your favorite genre in media in general, I can give a few recs off of those!

I like science fiction and fantasy and action/adventure :D lol, I know those are pretty broad topics... I guess in a show good voice acting and art design is also important to me... In the past I've tried to start watching a series but quit after the first episode because the main character's voice was driving me crazy x_x

Yeah, voice acting can be a little sensitive on me especially on older series.

HMMM. I can't say much on science fiction besides some mecha-themed anime such as any of the Gundam seasons and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. For the art design, I really love art styles/appeal for Mononoke, Gankutsuou, and Gatchaman Crowds. Spice and Wolf is another fantasy style that I like and is a bit close to my heart. A bit older compare to others, but it's a nice story.

If you like some wacky/crazy/sometimes nonsense stupid comedy, I love the ongoing Osomatsu-san and Space Dandy. Honestly, just have fun explore different shows and you will end up liking things you might not been interested in before!

My favorite anime is Baccano!, especially the dubbed version. I also really love Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 02, and if you're looking at movies, you can't go wrong with anything by Mamoru Hosoda. My favorite manga is Oh My Goddess!

hi rae, welcome to colors! anime/manga recs... my top five anime are neon genesis evangelion, samurai champloo, princess tutu, michiko to hatchin, and gurren lagann! they're all pretty different but they're really good, i promise. another good one is steins;gate... i have a myanimelist here that's a good reference since i rate everything i watch/read!

is there anything you'd like for witchcraft17? i can gift you a couple other cards if you see anything else you want too!

aww i'm glad you liked it! oh, another rec-- but it's a lot longer (148 eps)-- is hunter x hunter. i put it off for years because of the length but i ended up watching it in just a little more than a month, which is crazy for me. i loved absolutely everything about it, i highly highly recommend it if you ever have the time/attention span for something longer!

also, reading your below comment - if you like more psychological things that go beyond Cutesy Girls, both princess tutu and michiko to hatchin fit right into that!

I like fantasy/adventure/sci-fi... I suppose shorter series because I like watching things in their entirety (and I generally don't have the dedication to watch something regularly for months to years lol), but length wouldn't stop me ^^ I'd like to avoid... anything with cutesy girls? haha not really a theme/genre but I like complicated/realistic characters more than the ditsy/cute trope. I really enjoyed everything Ghost in the Shell for its animation styles and because it was very thought-provoking. I liked vampire hunter d (anime) because of how dark/mysterious it was. I love sailor moon (but uuuuugh dont get me started on chibiusa). Re-watched the whole series in college because I wasn't sure if I just enjoyed it because I was a kid when I first saw it. One of the worst things I've done for my education lol. Samurai Champloo was also fun, I liked the characters dynamics with each other and the animation style and action ^^

Sorry for the novel! I'm getting excited about the reccommendations everyone's giving me and its really making me think a lot about what I like and dislike :)

no no no, you just take the card here! you have the option to go buy your own box if and when you have enough cards, but when people give you cards from their box, they just link the box and the candy to prove which box they're using and the candy for it.
