Now that that's out of the way...
Hey guys! Welcome to the secret project!

The goal? Create a successful "Thank you!" card (though it's not necessarily a card as it may be HUGE) with messages and images of thanks to Lucathia for her epic work with Colors as owner and head mod. She's done a ton and we're nearing the 24th release here at Colors! We've been alive and kicking for over two years!

The card itself will be made up of any and all contributions from all of you, the players, and will be combined in a single card in the end! You all can contribute typed messages in the font of your choice, handwritten messages that are scanned in and sent in, or artwork that you've created!

There'll be a big image in the center (undecided right now; theorized to be the Colors cast (mascots) hugging Lucathia or celebrating something) surrounded by all of the contributed images and messages. We'll need an artist volunteer or a team of artists to collaborate for this part!


SO! How can you contribute? Easy!

A) Submit a typed message, preferably in PDF format, in any font and of any length.
B) Submit a handwritten message, scanned in and sent as an image file. PNG images are preferred!
C) Submit artwork! Black and white, color, big, or small! Anything you'd like!

Any completed contributions should be sent to me at skyeacadia (at) gmail (dot) com with the subject being "COLORS TCG - Thank You Project!" so that I don't miss it!

EDIT: Thanks to Chuu's great suggestion! If we get enough art, we can quite possibly make a DECK of gratitude and thanks out of the artwork! This would be fantastic!
Even better is that I, or another deckmaker, could easily and stealthily put this together without Lucathia knowing about it until it's done!


I'd love to have all the contributions in by the end of the month, but this is flexible! This is a TEAM PROJECT by all of us, so if you have ideas don't hesitate to throw them out! Let's make this wonderful thing happen!
Edit: If you say you have art or a message to contribute, we will await your contribution! Just give a rough idea of when you'll be able to make it happen!

I'm pretty good overall, just incredibly busy!
I've been pretty hardcore missing everyone here at Colors, though. ;A;

Managed to find some time to finally post this up... I want to make this happen! :) Because it's awesome. Why NOT give thanks for Lucathia being rad?

Oh man, tell me about that! I feel like I haven't been back here in years myself. I've missed Skie so much as well -- Colors is so different without your terribly obscure game rounds! When do you think you'll be back modding games and everything proper?

Also, is the deadline for this strictly the end of the month? if so, I don't know how much I can contribute as I have assignments due then... ):

As soon as I graduate in May, or at least as I get closer to it and I get my assignments out of the way, i'll be back to full activity. As it stands, I have no time to dedicate to doing TCG and mod work, so it wouldn't be fair to have stuck around. But soon... SOON I shall return!

I'm easily some kind of evil overlord.

We can easily stretch the deadline out further to allow for contributions. This is a community effort, so if the community needs time then time will be given!


The secret community kiiiiiind of got forgotten by most of us and it seemed like a more challenging method of taking care of this. So I simply asked Lucathia if, if I asked, she would refrain from looking at something I posted. She agreed, and so now it's on her to restrain herself from looking in this topic! :) And now EVERYONE who is a player at Colors and who looks at colors-trade will see this!

My program has been hard work all leading up to practical application. So now that it's all practical application and now that we've all been working for this last semester, the end is far more "taking it easy" with actual work and no classwork. Thank goodness; I am so done with having to write papers!

But yay graduations! You can do it, Nuge!

Keep me posted about your contribution! We won't finalize anything without yours since you want to participate!

(I don't think Lucathia will do that, but we'll see!)

I would think if there's enough art to go around, I'd say make a "thank you" deck! To make a commemoration for Lucathia and what not.

But look at you, Skie, being all awesome and everything! What a great great great idea, and I'm glad I decided to randomly check LJ after... way too long of not checking LJ. OTL You can (hopefully) count me in. Even though I'm going crazy trying to plan out units and lessons and teaching and grading and all things student teaching throws at me, I think I can find some time to write out a thank you message. In fact, just a couple weeks ago, I found a fishbone keychain that reminded me of Lucathia, and I sent it to her. T_T <3 Nothing is too much for her, so let's do this!
